Meemu is one of the emptiest atolls in the tourism map — a couple of resorts and a scattering of rooms on inhabited islands. The diving on the eastern rim is good and almost entirely unpressured.
The new airport at Muli will change this, and probably quickly. For now it is one of the few atolls where you can dive a channel and see no other boat.

Muli’s airport is new and short-hop from Malé; before it the atoll was a long boat ride and largely skipped.
