Lhaviyani is Faadhippolhu, a compact atoll with a reputation built on diving. The channels here run strong and the wreck and reef sites around the northern rim draw divers who have already done the easier atolls.
Naifaru is densely populated for its size and worth an afternoon; Hinnavaru is denser still. The resort and the local island sit closer together here than in most atolls, which makes day trips practical.
