Faafu

ފ · F · Pre-Islamic ruins

Faafu is small and very lightly developed. Nilandhoo carries the atoll’s history: the site of one of the oldest mosques in the country, built on the foundations of a pre-Islamic temple, with coral stone that predates the Islamic period.

There are two resorts and a handful of guesthouses. Most people who come here are diving or are on their way somewhere else.
